BaoBao Bags went live today! It’s a new concept of backpack with interchangeable “faces” – two of mine are on the opening roster.
It’s the Buttons! Unlike a traditional backpack, you can quickly and easily change the look of your Baobao as often as you’d like. The unique copper buttons located on the front compartment of your Baobao allow you to attach and remove any one of our unique “faces”, effortlessly transforming the entire appearance of your Baobao. Thus, our slogan, “one backpack. million faces”. More
They also hold contests for new artwork! Want to find out more? Check them out here.

Torso is a book by gestalten (Editor: Daniel Eckler) about current t-shirt culture, featuring designs and quotes by the people behind the designs. Yours truly is in it, as well.
With their catchy messages and bold artwork, T-shirts are a reflection of and petri dish for current styles in graphic design, illustration, and fashion. Focusing on T-shirts created by the most innovative and style-setting brands, Torso presents t-shirts that can be seen as projection screens for the most original contemporary visual codes. Compiled by Formatmag.com founder and editor-in-chief Daniel Eckler, this book is a definitive guide to today’s T-shirt culture.
It has already been released. For more info and a purchase link, go to gestalten.

Earlier this year I parked my name on Tumblr, not being sure what to do with it. Since then, I’ve been using it as a posting tool for animated GIFs. Just for fun, fun, fun! http://heikowindisch.tumblr.com/

Apologies for the lack of updates! Being busy with commissions, preparing for our vacation, turning up the heater.
In the meantime I want to say thank you to the many good folks who recently bought my merchandise, may it be t-shirts at MySoti or Redbubble, prints at Society6, Thumbtack Press or, last but not least, the legions of devotees who got their hands on “Hellraiser” at Teefury earlier this month. Muchas gracias, it means a lot to me!
By the way, if you’ve recently (or a long time ago…) purchased a t-shirt or print of mine, please send me a photo! I’d love to see them being worn by you or your pets, or hanging on your wall, door or fridge! It doesn’t have to be a professional picture – a snapshot or a pic taken with your mobile will do. To thank you for your time and effort, I’ll randomly send something nice to one of you. To enter, send your photos to heiko@heikowindisch.com or leave a comment!
(or, if you want, post it on my facebook page!)
Thank you very much, have fun & good luck!

Siggi Eggertsson is an Icelandic illustrator and designer living and working in Berlin. All his images are based on a tight grid, which he fills with curves, diagonal lines, gradients and a vibrant palette. This makes a pretty unmistakeable and accessible style and deservingly gives him a comfortable spot in the international illustrator’s jet set.

Have you been to any Weezer shows this year? If you’ve passed the merch stand chances are you’ve seen one of my designs. It’s completely surreal to think that ten-or-so years after listening the Blue Album to death I’d be doing tour shirts for them. Far out, dude!
Also, if you couldn’t make it to the shows, the shirt entered its second life at Hot Topic, if ye dare enter!
