Alex McLeod Landscapes
By heiko in found stuff, misc, other folks
Alex McLeod creates some of the most convincing and amazing digital landscapes I’ve ever seen. It smells like epoxy, styrofoam and wood glue, but it’s all virtual. He has two solo shows coming up soon: One at Angell Gallery in Toronto (opens August 26th), the other at Anno Domini in San Jose. Thumbs up! via My Love For You
August 24, Part 4
By heiko in announcementsAugust 24 is the one and only day my design “Grim Hellraiser” will be for sale at TeeFury!

“TeeFury is a place where you will find amazing tees at amazing prices […]. It’s pretty simple – one new super limited-edition tee every 24 hours for $9.”
Adidas Star Wars sneakers
By heiko in found stuff, miscWhen I was about 14, I thought that adidas was the only acceptable brand of clothing on the planet. I was planning on slowly phasing out my entire wardrobe in favour of the three stripes. At the same time, I knew there was such a thing as Star Wars, but I did not care about it a bit. Nowadays, I don’t own any adidas pieces anymore (apart from a pair of running shoes I got in 1998 and a 1982 style German World Cup Jersey), but I’m more into Star Wars, even if I could do without the newer trilogy.
These days adidas and the Star Wars franchise have partnered up to deliver some fun sneakers inspired by characters from George Lucas’s mythology. I don’t really wear sneakers myself, but I like the aesthetics, and those are nice to look at.
More after the jump.
